Chowders' N Moor

Finally reviewing this place after being here several times. Chowders is pretty consistent with quality of food. While it is no longer on the menu, the white chicken chili cheese fries are a must. It's just unfortunate the portion has shrunk so much. I really like the clam chowder, just wish it was hot. The French onion soup on the other hand was very hot, and wad very good. Whenever I come here it seems pretty busy, so I think service lacks sometimes. Nothing worse than being thirsty and no refills insight.

I’ve been coming here for years and The quality and taste is always consistent. Their margaritas are very good. Really good housemade soup . Not the cheapest place in town but they have an extensive menu and never had a bad meal here

Overall, this place was fantastic. Walls seem to be cluttered, but it all ties together with a nautical theme. Service was a little slow, but that could be due to the number of guests they had there. Food was outstanding folks, you have got to eat here!!

Traveling from Kentucky and stopped for lunch on our way through to Michigan. It's one of my favorite restaurants. I usually try something new every time and I'm NEVER disappointed.

Very nice place. Just came across it out of the blue. The waitress recommended the tater tots and they were good and prepared perfectly. I had a blue cheese burger which was enormous!
I've never been to Bar Harbor Maine, which apparently this is based off of. But it was a nice nautical theme. Next time I've got to try the chowder, right?
