The Grainery

Raised in Plain City, Ohio, The Grainery seems to be a perfect and promising addition to the town.

The pulled pork and brisket are nothing short of delicious and the sides are rather tasty and decently portioned for the price. Nice selection of brews and liquors available. The space is nice and clean and Alyssa was welcoming and friendly.

Would like to see a few more options on the menu, but also appreciate the simplicity.

Highly recommend, stop in for a beer and and some grub, you won't be disappointed.

Update: Back to Plain City for a visit and The Grainery has grown significantly, adding a banquet hall upstairs and a massive outside patio space complete with a wet bar that is shared with Pioneer Pizza. Looks amazing.

Excellent food and service. We ordered the nachos, glad we only got the half a portion since it was pretty big for two people. My wife got the barbacoa and I got the brisket, very tasty with the Kansas BBQ sauce. The side dishes were big as well, definitely get your money's worth. Our server was very attentive and the food came out right on time.

Pork was good, sides were better. Plenty of tvs to keep me entertained. Had the doors open so it felt like I was eating outside, that was awesome. Very clean place too. Import draft beer way overpriced but tasted great. Had to ask for utensils and never offered sauce for pork sandwich. None of the negatives would stop me from visiting again though.
