“Our family stayed in a cabin at this KOA twice this summer, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The owners and staff made us feel so welcome. The cabin and site were clean. The fire pit with grate made campfires and cooking easy and safe. The kids loved all of the animals on-site! We also enjoyed the swimming lake, inflatables, jumping pillow, and playground. In the rain, the game room kept us busy. We can’t wait to come back!”

“I lived on Lewis- Siefert rd. (Hubbard). landsdowne at that time was run by the Bird Brothers and was known by their name, Bird airport. It was a short bike ride from my house and I remember a small air show there and some fatal airplane accidents in the area. A J-3 Piper Cub from bird made an emergency landing in our cornfield. It was flown by a student pilot and Mr. bird came to our farm with fuel and he, Mr Bird took off from the field. He had us hold the tail off the ground and hold the plane back as long as we could while he gave it full throttle! Quite an experience for a youngster. I think the time frame was 1943-47 or 48. I remember US Army Air Force pilots renting planes there.”

“I just go because of the cross country meet they have. But the school looks amazing but when they have these event's they need to use a better portable john company. They were utterly disgusting with very little sanitizer. Granted, and I'm not stupid, the school may have no clue or maybe they don't have any say in those types of choices but when I asked a school official to go inside and use there facilitates, I was met with rudeness and a general sense of being made fun of. Next time, I just might pee on one of those beautiful tress they have instead of stepping inside one of those filthy toliets.”
