“High Gear has been my gym home for almost 4 years. In the 4 years that I have been going it has become much more than a gym. It is a place of refuge and healing. That may sound like an odd thing to say about a gym but for me, that is the best way to descibe it. I have made many, many new friends and continue to make more. If you a curious about attending they always have a special for Gear Up classes (beginner). For more advanced athletes the programing is challenging and relevent to what you see in the Open and Games. I hope to see you soon.”

“I have been coming here for a few years now. Very welcoming and loving church. Growing up in the faith and going to different churches I felt like I never belonged. I feel like I belong here. I grew up Baptist but never felt connected. I feel that here and got baptized at Polaris. The commity outreach Polaris does is awesome. The food pantry, city mission, love pure the Christmas gifts that are sent over seas. I can't even remember them all. The school Rise and Shine is great too. My kids love it. The teachers and all the staff are amazing.”

“I hired David a.k.a. "Mr Countertop" to install butcher block counter tops in my home and although I was a bit nervous at first, in the end I am highly satisfied and actually wanted to take the time to write a review. Here's my honest feedback: I definitely recommend David for your countertop needs and would use him again. However, my advice to you when hiring him is to be prepared to stay flexible with your project timelines. There were a number of times where communication could have been better and our install day was pushed back a couple of times, which made it tricky to schedule other workers that couldn't begin until the countertop was installed. That being said, the day that David brought the butcher block counter to the house on installation day and I set eyes on it - my goodness what a craftsman he is! He took the unfinished piece of wood I had purchased from a store in Cleveland (David actually drove up and got the wood for me) and in his workshop molded and polished and sanded and carved it into nearly a work of art - it's gorgeous and it fit absolutely perfectly. On installation day he worked, in the heat, tirelessly to install a new sink and faucet I had purchased and even came back the next day to fix a dripping issue I had. It took him 5 minutes and he didn't hesitate. All in all, you won't find a better value for the quality of work he does.”

“I was looking for a fun weekend away with my teenage daughter. Melissa was able to provide a great rate at an awesome hotel in Dillard GA. It was safe and clean and in the CUTEST small town. She gave me recommendations on several things to do while we were there, although the adorable town had the cutest antique shops and general stores we probably could have spent our weekend shopping. But we had the BEST time at her recommendation of Black Rock Mountain State Park and spent a day hiking and at the lake! I will NEVER book another trip without Melissa's help! She can help with anything, small trips, big trips....EVEN NFL tickets (which I have also purchased from her)! Seriously amazing, personable and so professional! She will do her best to get to know you so she can build you a vacation to remember!”
