This is an excellent gallery and one of the best parts of the US Air Force Museum. This gallery contains a space section, which I didn’t have time to see, and a military section with several exciting aircraft, such as an SR-71 Blackbird—the world’s fastest plane—and the world’s only B-2 bomber on display, along with the nuclear missiles that it shoots. This gallery also contains several other fighter jets and a radar that was used to detect incoming nuclear missiles. I gave this gallery five stars because it has several enticing aircraft on display, including the world’s fastest plane and world’s only B-2.
This is a really great space-
The missiles are incredibly overwhelming to see in person.
Some of the history is painful to look at, but so important to be able to see.
I really appreciate the staff here. They are all friendly and respectful.
Many seats along to way provide some ease if you need to take a break.
This section had some interesting vehicles and information.
Great place to walk around, see and read about so many aviation
There is a great collection of Vietnam-era planes and helicopters, along with a ton of information about the time.
