Helped me get exactly what I needed.
Have driven by this place for years, today I stopped in and picked up a load of kiln dried maple and cherry. Price was great and many times better than the lowes and home depot hardwood offerings. Stop in and check these guys out if you are looking for some real good quality hardwood lumber that you can work and finish yourself!
An excellent place to get rough cut lumber. I purchased some white oak and cherry boards that are kiln dried. Very reasonable lumber prices. They also offer live edge slabs. The business has been around over 30 years. They know what they're doing.
For those with the need they can also mill logs for you provided the logs don't have nails or metal stuck in them. It's a circular sawmill for those interested. They deal mostly with hardwoods but they do have pine from time to time. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the market for rough cut lumber.
Clear Run Lumber in 229 in Ashley, Ohio is one of the best sawmills in the state of Ohio. The Fisher family has been logging and milling lumber for 4 generations. There is always something great to pick up and the prices on rough-sawn lumber are lower than any mill I've worked with. They understand that to keep customers you can't gouge them on price. I will work with Matt and Millard Fisher for my lumber as long as they stay open for business.
The Miller's are hard working and honest. It has been a pleasure dealing at Clear Run each and every time I have visited.
