“I was actually quite surprised to find GOOD Mexican food this far north but I did! This place was slammed when we stopped by. I’ve never seen so many people and you could tell the waitstaff was struggling to keep up with so many people. Overall, it was good food at an unbelievably great price! Finally found a place that didn’t cost $50 for dinner for two. Salsa is really good. Chips were fresh. The only negative I really have was that I ordered sweet tea and it turned out to be that ‘Brisk’ tea out of a fountain. But hey, I’m happy to let that slide because overall the food was pretty good!”

“My wife and I are visiting from out of state. We decided to stop in out of curiosity and we had some time to kill. The store was very neat and some of the best mounts I have seen, you can tell there is real time and artistry put into each mount. My favorite was the Perch in the cooler! We weren't there for mounts though, we ended up buying four of the lovely hand made candles they had for sale. Super cool and unique candles that smell amazing. We had a great conversation with, I'm assuming Jim? Either way, I would highly recommend to stop by and give them your time.”

Every single person we have interacted with has been responsive, understanding and polite, every single time! The idea of keeping residents’ best interest at the center of the work being done is evident at Edgewood. It’s an “all hands on deck” atmosphere where staff express confidence and demonstrate expertise. All aspects of this facility seem positively better than both of our former two facilities. It is such a huge relief to know the Edgewood team is listening and helping us get through these very difficult days with dementia. “Wait times to be seated and to receive food were pretty extensive, but we weren't in a hurry. Food was delicious! I order the Pot Stickers, Ancho Apple Pork Chop and a couple of Peach Margaritas. We never got our side salads with our meals, so they were comped and they still gave them to us to go! This particular pork chop is really thick, so it took roughly a half hour or so to cook. I felt it was worth the wait. The atmosphere and view were great as well. Will go back!”

“Quaint little church. Traditional worship service that starts at 9am. Pastor leans towards conservative theology, which is refreshing. Biblical truth in sermons. Great building architecture and an awesome pipe organ still in use, if you like that sound. While the congregation is generally older, they love when kids come to church and treat them as loved grandchildren. We enjoy visiting this church when we are by the lake.”
