Pioneer Mill of Tiffin

Real nice place with outstanding character! Beautiful old repurposed mill in Tiffin. Salad bar is very good, staff are nice and attentive. Lots of variety on the menu. My ribs were good.

200 year old mill. Converted into a restaurant a long time ago. Could use a good dusting and an update. Peeling wallpaper, burnt out bulbs everywhere. Almost seems to add to the charm of the place! Decent prices, creative menu, and a PROPER salad bar! I look forward to checking out Tinks!

Wonderful place to eat. The hostess that met us at the front was so nice. Once I told her we had never been there before she was kind enough to offer some suggestions. We had just a brief wait for a table as they were quite busy on a Saturday evening.
The patio overlooks a creek and there are a lot of trees around. So, the scenery was great. They had quite a large area for seating on the patio complete with a bar in the middle. The chairs are wooden but we're very comfortable. Our server Brock was absolutely awesome. Even though they were very busy he was very attentive and we felt that we were well taken care of.
The food was outstanding. My wife had the chicken parmesan sandwich and I had a chicken and linguine dish. We were very impressed with not only the quality of the food, but also with the speed at which our food came out. As recommended by the hostess we had the triple layer chocolate cake for dessert, absolutely wonderful.
All in all, you could definitely spend some money here, but it is well worth every dollar. We will most assuredly be returning in the near future.

The Pioneer Mill is a lovely setting wirh a and delicious salad bar. I ordered chicken that was very tasty. Oh my, and that chocolate cake was rich, fudge and amazingly wonderful.
