Lake Nesmith Park

Great place to watch the sunset 🌇.

I've been going to this little park my entire life. I absolutely love it. I've watched my stepdad's soft ball team play here in the mid 80's, taken my boys here to go sledding, had a couple of first kisses beside the water, sold a mini fridge in the parking lot to a guy I simply adore, and came for comfort after my Dad passed away.

Beautiful. There are many points from which you can fish. My baby and I watched the ducks and played in the grass for awhile. Nice and relaxing atmosphere 🥰

It's not a huge park and I wouldn't get in the water. The park itself is typically clean and has plenty of room for sports or games.
