Akron Glass Works

What an amazing place! I surprised my mom with a glass working class for her birthday and we had a blast.

There's a huge parking lot and the building itself is absolutely breathtaking.

Christian and David were our instructors and we were in a class with five other people. The workshop was from 12:30 to 2:30 and since we weren't in a hurry, it was fun to watch the others go first. We made glass birds!

It was exciting to get the opportunity to have such a hands-on experience, but as beginners, it also served as a perfect starting point!

After we finished, we looked around the shop because there was a plethora of things for purchase and we picked up our items the next day!

10/10!!

We really enjoyed the glass blowing class. It was fascinating to experience the unique process hands on. The instructors were very knowledgeable and insured the results turned out well, even for complete beginners like us.

My mom and I had a fantastic time at Akron Glass Works. We went for the ornament making class. Neil and Zack were great instructors, they were very patient with us being first timers. We will definitely be back!!

Our wedding at The Sanctuary at Akron Glass Works was beautiful! The team at The Sanctuary went above and beyond to make sure every little detail was perfect. The venue itself is very unique and has massive glass blown chandeliers, high vaulted ceilings, and STUNNING stained glass windows in every direction. We had a cocktail hour in the actual glass shop where glass was actively being blown. This made great entertainment for our guests.
I cannot recommend this venue enough. It will exceed every expectation you have for your day.
