  I am currently a caregiver for Firstlight, this is the best home care company I have ever worked for. They care about their clients qnd their staff. They are always a phone call or text away if you need anything even if it's just to ask questions. Chelsea has been a big help for me since I started. She has always answered my calls and helped with anything I have needed.

  I love being a caregiver for FirstLight. I am grateful for the support of the owners when times have been tough when dealing with a client passing or needing support to care for my client. I am thankful for the many opportunities I have had and continue to have to love on others and pour life into them. I have gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which I really had to stop to look fear in the face and say I must do the things which I thought I couldn't do. I learned it wasn't as hard as it seemed in the end. Being a caregiver can be tough, yet it's a fulfilling role that can be hard for others to understand fully. Caregiving has been a constant learning experience for me. The power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which has had the potential to turn someones life around. There has came a time that someone I loved passed away and it was comforting that I was their caregiver. I can cherish the memories and carry on the things they have taugh me. I love my job and I love each client I have had the opportunity to pour life into. It's pure joy. Thanks FirstLight for guiding me in a new to me new field and helping me grow.

  First Light has gone above and beyond for us in the care of my mother-in-law! She is very picky about who cares for her, and they are excellent at finding just the right person. All her caregivers have been very reliable, pleasant and caring with her, and have truly become friends to the whole family.
