Brandywine Ski Area

My family loves to ski and this is our best spot to do it in our area. They aren't the most organized when you are trying to sign up for lessons or have questions. Overall, it's clean , easy access and staff friendly

Great place to learn to ski or board. Staf is super helpful with beginners slowing the lifts etc. There is enough different type of terrain to keep people of most levels busy. Obviously its not aything out west, or east but for 30 min from cleveland it is a good place to get away for awhile. Their snow making ability is pretty good. Also Free parking. Also if you pre-purchase a lift ticket they are good about refunds if you can't make it.

The open slopes were in good condition, the two front slopes were closed, not enough snow. But the snow guns went on at about closing time, my guess is they will open soon. A boarder hit his head on the hill, ski patrol came quick and took good care of him. Stopped at the bar for a beer after skiing, nice bartender and good selection of drinks.

We had an awesome day here. We rented boots, boards, and helmets all were decent quality. We spent most of the day on the green beginner slopes and several people helped us figure out how to snowboard. The staff is friendly and helpful. There is a cafeteria with good enough food and it's right next to the bar were you can grab a beer to help heal your sore tailbone. Highly recommended.
