Dr. Babette Verbsky is a true professional and a pleasure to work with. She will go out of her way to make sure that your hearing needs are met. I have been wearing hearing aids for over 20 years now and I can tell you that the technology they have now is out of this world. The Bluetooth technology is fantastic. There are so many different settings and ways to use the hearing aids. I have for the past 10 years played electric guitar in the Praise and Worship band at our church. I wear headphones and the ability of the hearing aids to make everything clearer and to make the very loud noises like the drums within a comfortable hearing range is priceless! You will not be disappointed by the service provided or the products being offered by Dr. Verbsky.

My son's auditory processing problems were tricky to diagnose--the problems he had were revealed by completing an "optional" portion of the typical screening. Dr. Verbsky identified his issues, utilized additional targeted testing, and provided individualized therapy to remediate his specific difficulties. She expertly gained my son's cooperation during both testing and therapy, motivating him to persist through his therapeutic activities. My son invests more into therapy when he understands the benefit, and Dr. Verbsky was both willing and able to explain his difficulties, the goals of therapy, and how therapy works to him in a way that he understood and that made him willing to comply wholeheartedly with the exercises.

My son's current status is "remediated," and people who are used to having a difficult time communicating with him have noticed a big improvement in his listening abilities. The changes in my son's auditory processing lowered the frustration level in our home and in his academics, allowing him to engage in a broader range of listening activities comfortably, such as listening to podcasts, audio books, and movies with fast-paced dialog.

Additionally, Dr. Verbsky provides hearing preservation options for our budding musicians. She offers a variety of solutions for all levels of musicians. Through her practice and personal advocacy, our middle and high school kids' band program enrolled in a hearing preservation program that allows band members to purchase musician's earplugs at a reduced price. Dr. Verbsky did not benefit monetarily from this program, but she was willing to offer this service for the health of our band community.
