John Newlove has been amazing! I rented an apt for four years and came back after getting out of a toxic situation. They welcomed me with open arms and helped me get into an apartment and now I feel safe. I want to give a huge thank you to the staff!

Stayed 7 years in the same residence and I am very pleased with this landlord. Great service and communication, they were always prompt in dealing with issues, whether it was clogged pipes, electricity outage, or when there was a malfunction on the perimeters (oven coil broke, ceiling was dripping etc.).

AC was installed and one of the two bathrooms was completely remodeled, with a brand new tub and shower cabin. Rent did go up over the years, but only by a decent amount.
Once a week the landlord pays for general cleaning in the common shared areas (trash, mopping, wiping sinks).

Four out of five stars only because of two things: out of seven apartments, at least two should not have been rented out because of how small the spaces were. Too many people for the shared spaces.

Secondly, it takes up to 30 days to issue the deposit refund. I left the room in great condition and my refund is still pending after 3 weeks.
I think if the room is left clean and in good conditions, the refund should be issued immediately.
