“This is the place that helped me recover from religious abuse. I was abused for decades by protestants and could not find any protestant groups that did not have the environment for s*xual abuse to thrive as it did in the one I was raised. I am glad I went to RCIA here, even as a skeptic they were welcoming and did not shy from my sincere concerns. There is no "used car salesman" vibe like I saw in all evangelicals and "non denomination" groups. I've spent 8+ years in therapy, a few weeks here was just as helpful.
