“We love how kind the people are that work here! My wife and I have taken our son to this station and with no notice or appointment they have invited us in for a tour of the station. They let him see all the trucks and sit in one. One woman gave him a little red beenie stuffed animal chicken and it has forever been named "Fire-Chicken". Every time we drive by he calls this place My Fire Station. Thank you everyone for inviting us in and giving my son a happy memory!”

I immediately called 911 and the Olive Green, Porter Central Fire Department was on scene in no time. They did a spectacular job! Their quick response time and decisive action saved our home. They extinguished the fire with minimal damage to the property. I really appreciate the care they showed for the contents of our home. The fire chief, Michael Thompson, was cordial and professional. Our community is blessed because of their service! Thank you Chief Thompson and Men!”
