“Hometown nostalgia with modern technology, and family like care. This eye doctor, along with his sister who is the office manager, are top notch. The atmosphere is warm and inviting. Some of the paintings are from local artists, and each one has a story of how they came to be. I don't want to spoil their magic, but I encourage you to stop by and hear from Dr. Matthew and his sister about the history. This office has been amazing for my family. My husband needs specialty care for his vision, so we had gone out of town for years. He needed to be seen this year but I couldn't get an appointment until 6 months later. I called Dr. Matthew and they were able to see him much sooner and they have the equipment he needs. I highly recommend coming here for your vision needs.”

“Dr. Strauss was amazing! He is accepting new patients and masks are required no matter what. They have them at the front desk if you need one. His staff, oh my goodness, so helpful, kind, and understanding. They have empathy and truly care. I sat with Dr. Strauss in his office like we were old friends as he asked questions about the reason for the visit. He listens and is so caring!!! Truly listens!! I walked away feeling seen and heard as a patient. He will not just throw out a diagnosis to placate the patient. He does research and follows up with you. He doesn't just throw meds at you but is thoughtful in this process and also looks at the potential cost of a med he may be ordering. He wrote everything down on a sheet of paper for me and also, so I could bring it home for the family. He explained every single detail of what he wrote down. As I was going to make a follow-up appointment, the front end staff asked for that sheet and went over it again just to ensure I understood all of the written orders. He sees patients of all ages and if you have a little one, there is a little play area for them to keep them entertained. I cannot speak highly enough about the entire staff and Dr. Strauss. “Dr Kernan and his staff are fantastic. I had to have a couple different tooth extractions over the years and it was entirely painless, even my recovery. From the day of the extraction I'm not sore at all. I have to make sure I remember I've had a tooth pulled so I don't go chomping on the extraction site. I've moved about 30 minutes away since I first visited the practice, but will continue to make the trip when I need an oral surgeon. The office staff is very capable and friendly. Highly recommend.”

“I have went for multiple car seat safety checks. Marissa is very helpful. We had been in a minor collision it was recommended to move my son up to the next seat we had ready for him because after even a minor collision the seats aren’t considered safe. Mine was defective from the start so we are ready to use a fully functional car seat. This is an extremely important program and Marissa is very passionate and genuine in her approach wanting all children to be as safe as possible on the roads! Even my car insurance didn’t speak to me about the seat change so I’m very happy we made contact and went for another check!!”
