As an almost-70 year-old with IPF (idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, an incurable and irreversible lung ailment,) as well as balance issues caused by a bone l shattered in my right foot during a fall several years ago, l was hesitant to join the Fitness Pavilion. However, that decision has had a life-changing, positive impact on my life and health. Justin gave me a thorough orientation as to the proper use of the equipment. Parmjit’s chair yoga classes have helped me relax, learn to breathe more deeply, and gain strength and balance. My latest venture has really surprised me. When l first joined Julie’s DanceFit class, l had to hold on to the wall or barre for balance. I struggled to pivot, kick, and move without stumbling. I struggled to catch my breath. But, three months later, my balance, strength, and agility (along with my breathing) are vastly improved. I heartily recommend the TriHealth Fitness Pavilion to any of my older contemporaries.”
