“Update: l had P&P again at a lunch event and the traditional pie was significantly better than the sheet pizza I had previously. The crust is very true to NY style, and the ratio of sauce/toppings to dough was perfect— I didn’t need the additional side sauce that the owners offered. It’s one of the few places in the Mentor area to get sheet pizza from, but the dough on the sheet pizza is much thicker than expected compared to NY style. From my previous review I wanted to reiterate that the salad was very good— full of toppings and a generous side of dressing. The staff is also very friendly, and the restaurant is clean. I may not get the sheet pizza again, but the traditional pies and salads are easily 5 star quality.”

“We had the best experience today! We ordered a couple of pizzas and a salad, my expectations were low I just wanted something quick and easy but the pizzas were perfectly cooked. Crispy (generous amounts) pepperoni, gooey cheese and perfectly cooked crust. The salad was also better than expected, all the veggies were chopped with care and there were lots of them! There was also plenty of cheese with the salad and the lettuce was incredibly fresh and crispy! Even their dressings were delicious, they use Dukes brand packets. To top it all off the staff was incredibly friendly! I appreciate the care that went into preparing and packaging of our dinner tonight. “Definitely reminds me of the small town great pizza I grew up on out near Utica, and how Zamarelli’s was when we 1st moved to the area in the 90’s. They didnt go light on the sauce and you just have to know what you want. This this isnt a Massey’s/Donato’s/Classic’s style with edge to to edge pepperoni. Order extra pep like I did and I always order extra cheese from every place. The pepperoni seems thicker which I really, really like. This is definitely one of my new favorites, I hope it stays around for a long time. I ordered within an our of closing and they took my order with no problems, I appreciate that especially after I had a long difficult 70hr work week and a birthday immediately after for my kids where. I got to enjoy this all by myself peacefully. Thanks for filling up my belly! Always have to eat a corner slice on my way home from getting pizza. My late momma did it when we were growing, up so its always a salute to her when I do it now.”
