They were cooked perfect and had the right amount of toppings and it tasted very fresh. I also got the spinach and cheese pizza bites and those were amazing. “A friend said they heard this place was good. So my husband and I and a few friends went... It was... ok It was a clean restaurant. Clean bathrooms. For a Friday, it wasn't very busy. Out waitress wasn't the friendliest, but wasn't the rudest we've ever experienced. It took 15 minutes just to get our drinks. Then our appetizers came like minutes apart from each other. We couldn't even enjoy the appetizers that we bought because we had to hurry and get to our food. The steak was juicy, but zero flavor. Mashed potatoes were very good. Fried pickles were the best we've had. Our waitress never came back to make sure our food was good. We honestly never seen her again until we had to pay. We had to stop other waitresses to get refills or more sauce. Kids were running past our table playing and yelling. Our overall experience is, we probably won't be back and it's not a restaurant I would recommend to my family or friends over other restaurants.”

“Wow, just wow! I just met an old hi-school friend for breakfast at this place at his suggestion. It was a well-placed suggestion. Our waitress Kerry was outstanding. She made sure that our coffee cup was never empty and always hot. When I finally had a chance to look through all the menu options they had some specials that looked really special. So I ordered a western omelette that was full of 4 eggs and potatoes and peppers and tomatoes and bacon and just really excellent (see picture). The toast actually really had butter, not just a quick swipe of some brush. It was a really friendly atmosphere with plenty of parking. However it was a Tuesday morning and about 9:30 so not many but they kept drifting in. I can't wait to try supper there some evening. Both large breakfast including coffee we're just barely over $20, so it was a great deal.”

While online hours posted are 8am to 10pm, out of towners should be aware that they are closed 2-4pm…so don’t plan on a late lunch. We were greeted with, “…you know we close at 2?” This seat-yourself location had maybe 4-5 other patrons, so we felt comfortable in being able to meet that time line…and the waitress did tell us about their special. This is a locally we’ll know bar/restaurant with sandwiches, subs & pizza at a VERY reasonable price. Food was tasty & served quickly—even with a smile—after our initial abrupt welcome. Food came, we paid, and were walking out the door by 1:51pm. Made it.”

This is a place I would return to. the food was good and the wait staff was great. price was reasonable, especially considering the quality of the food. I felt the salad was not comparable to the rest of the dinner where the salad was mostly just a regular leafy green. The portions were small as well. The menu was also very limited. Even more so than the one shown online. There was one meat, one fish, one burger, and a couple of pasta options.”

This place is worn and you can tell folks smoked here years ago- BUT that adds to the story. The scratch made onion rings are a value at $4.50. My starch made loaded potato soup and salad was a bargain for $7 - even the unsweetened iced tea was cheaper than the fountain drinks. The owner is putting some heart into what he makes. Don't expect to have it ready in a jiffy- each meal I made to order. This is what every neighborhood needs- a wide variety of draft option, a barkeep with a vast array of hard liquors and Great food! Our barkeep was so friendly and helpful- she engaged us on a personal level and Mae us feel welcome! I will return when I'm in the area again!! Don't miss eating here!!!”

Avocado Bacon Burger, our complaint was once the large chunk of avocado fell off it didn't have a whole lot of other flavor, wish the avocado was actually the guac with it's zesty flavor combo, or add an aioli. The Roadside Burger was perfect the way it was, hotter peppers would be delicious but honestly it was good. A bit disappointed in standard chips versus the homemade kettle chips. The beers were ask really tastey. We tried a couple and not one was bad. Will definitely be coming back.”
