“Great place. Had lunch there. Service was top shelf but it wasn't really busy. Nice environment inside. Ate on the covered patio. Ordered cheese cubes, nice and crispy with a light breading. The cheese stretches nice. The sauce could be warmer. Also split the cod fish sandwich with chips. Excellent choice. Great flavor in the fish. The bun gets a little soggy but the fish is simply delicious. I might get it next time without the bun. It is that good. The chips are well done and crispy. Not overly salty. Just perfect. I would get them again. Overall a great place to eat. No wonder the parking lot always looks full. You have to try this place. One last thing, tried the big sauce. Nice and smoky flavor. Great with the chips.”

“Yum! What great and friendly service we received. The place was busy but we were treated as if we were the only customers there! I love the food! Started with sushi 🍣 I was so hungry I forgot to take pictures. But highly recommend the spicy Tuna and crunchy Samon Rolls. 😋 The Spicy Szechuan chicken with fried rice was amazing!! I highly recommend eating here! And I will definitely be back in at some point to enjoy your food again!”

“Excellent salad bar, I will definitely be back for that. Ribs were good and tender, fell off the bone and were moist. Can't complain if you like these type, but I'm more of a dry rub from the smoker rib person. Very nice that they have a small bar area and a few drafts to choose from. Service was good as well, not long waits and not throwing your main dish on top of your salad before finishing. I will be back for the salad bar and to try some other main dishes. (Sorry, no offense to Ben, but I'm not a Steeler's fan either so probably won't try the Ben Burger 🤣).”

“The American Road Diner is a wonderful step back in time to the 1950s. The diner's look is that of the heyday of America's early Rock& Roll and Hot Rod car years, with vintage wall hangings, a jukebox and comfortable booths that resemble those from that era. Not only will the restaurant's decor take you back in time, so will the wonderful service! The waitress/Manager who served me was a delight. She was cheerful and very attentive to every customer. The cook was quick with preparing the orders and I didn't have to wait very long at all. That kind of service is all too often a thing of the past, so it's refreshing to find it again. But of course, the main reason for visiting is for good food, and your going to find it here. The menu is simple: breakfast, lunch and dinner options that aren't fancy but are what a person would have found in a Diner back then. I had a cheeseburger and fries and it was delicious! It was even served in the old fashioned wicker style basket with red and white checkered paper liner. The restaurant is clean from the floors to the tables and chairs, even the condiment containers are spotless. It's obvious that the employees take great pride in their work. This was my first visit to The American Road Diner and I was highly impressed. I will come back every time I'm in the area.”

“Not sure what's wrong with these people that don't give this place all five stars. I grew up in this town and on Bruno's and Bosco's Pizza. This stuff tastes the same as it did when I was a kid and that is absolutely wonderful. I just had my girlfriend drive me a half a tray all the way back to Indiana and it was the first time I have tasted that deliciousness since the 90s. You guys do a great job. You did that and you still do now keep it up.”

Today I visited at 6:45pm and the floor was being swept literally right under my feet...and when I moved the girl moved and continued to sweep around me. Then she started mopping. It wasn't just me waiting for food and I'm not sure why she needed to be cleaning literally around people when they close at 9pm. Finally, their bathroom is "closed" - and they don't have another option. Maybe today was just an off day?”

I do not like to eat inside a car. Visited today and asked for 3pc strip asked for fresh wedges. Hardly ever get wedges even remotely warm here. I don't understand why. If I ask for fresh, my wedges should not be cold. Their not even warm. Must be at work so no time to return my food. I dont want to hold up the line just to check my food. I work hard for the money I'm giving you. My food should be hot. Not satisfied with this place. The customer service is nice. The food sucks.”
