“Driving to this restaurant is literally like driving to a once-busy waterfront. Boats and vessels all around, an industrial feel to the area. The spacious red-brick building itself in former ship yard. It houses an event center and a restaurant: The Boiler Room. The lively atmosphere is a cross between an English pub (with high ceilings) and a family restaurant. The menu had tempting meat and fish dishes. We had been driving all day, eating roadstop food, and opted for side dishes. I had ginger rice, cauliflower mash and Brussels sprouts. My husband ordered the soup of the day - an onion soup and the hummus platter. The sides were great, the cauliflower mash tasted like garlic mashed potatoes and the Brussels sprouts were fresh and well seasoned . The soup tasted fresh with just enough salt. The staff was professional and helpful, they even carried our forgotten charge card to us in the car before we left the parking lot!”

“The Patio at Cardo's Pizza is the place to be this summer!! I just attended the Grand Opening, where they launched their new PourMyBeer self-serve beverage wall featuring a variety of local beers, ciders, wines, and cocktails. (Fun Fact: Keith, the owner, told me that Cardo's was the first company in the US to tap Brewdog's infamous 'Elvis Juice!') After pouring and sampling some Moscow Mules, Margaritas, and beers, I ordered the boneless wings and garlic chicken pizza - both were so delicious! While enjoying my food and drinks, we heard some live music by AJ Angelo, which made the experience that much more fun! The service was great. Lauren and Chelsie were great servers, and you can tell how much Keith, the owner, cares about his business. He actively checks on every table and ensures everyone is enjoying their food and overall experience. I can't wait to come back here for some more food, self-pour fun, and live music throughout the summer!”

“Great pizza and value! I'm new to the area and found this place via Google. Since it was close by I decided to walk there. The place is small and meant for pickup and delivery only. They have a tiny waiting area with a few seats but that's about it. The building is OLD but it adds to the aesthetic imo. The food though is great!! The menu has normal pizzeria types of food: pizza, wings, foldovers, soda and etc... but thr value is great especially compared to national chains. The food is made fresh and their topping portions are generous. Highly recommend!!”

“This is a very unique idea. You can pick pumpkins, drink wine, have some craft beer and eat food all at the same place. They have a great beer selection. I would say one of the tops in the area. The service was excellent, and the bartenders knew their beer inside and out. Not your typical bar setting though. Grab yourself a craft brewing sit down like you're in your living room. I’ve heard from other restaurants that they prefer people order to pick up since it’s easier that way and the apps can be confusing. Since it’s so easy to just call to order I recommend everyone to just call instead!! I’m sure getting the food is much faster too. Never had more than 30 min. wait (usually always 5-20). The garlic parmesan were really delicious also. The Greek rub on the fries was excellent, probably our favorite. They put the seasoning all the way through not just on top. Little cornbread bites were good, and the coleslaw was surprisingly tasty. Mac ‘n’ cheese was more American cheese than cheddar but still decent. Yep it’s a little pricey but where isn’t these days? Food was ready on time, and nice young man showed me everything in order before he bagged it.”
