“Great atmosphere. We had a large party, the server was wonderful, fast, and friendly. Drinks were great. It was a super fun night with friends and family. One critique: the pretzel bites were disgusting. I thought we'd just get soft pretzel bites with cheese but they were deep fried, hard, and soaking in oil that hasn't been changed often enough. They don't need to be fried. Regular soft pretzel pieces are just fine. Otherwise the food was great.”

“First time visit to the Hickory House and it won't be the last! Stopped by on a Saturday evening and was told it would be a 20-40 min wait to be seated. We were seated in 20 min. Our server Alexis was just fantastic. Very attentive, super friendly and considerate of her coworkers. The wait for the food after ordering was average for how busy the restaurant was. The food however was far from average. Everything was excellent! From the sweet butter and crunchy bread to the perfectly prepared, smoky, moist, huge rack of ribs, no detail was missed.The BBQ sauce itself, had about 4 distinct flavors...that's a sauce made with care. The loaded baked potato is a delicious, cheesy smoked bacon, homemade sour cream and chive topped, meal by itself! The atmosphere is charming, relaxing and clean. All staff encountered were friendly and attentive. Prices are about average for excellent BBQ. The Hickory House is definitely on my "go to" list for exceptional food and service!”

“I love their chicken wings Period!! If you like coleslaw it is still made the original way, very good. The leafy salad is good too. This is the only thing I purchase every time I eat here. I had the fish once and it was fresh and lightly seasoned and okay to me but my daughter liked it, each to its own taste you know. I purchased my son a burger, I saw it out of the box and it was prepared with pickles, tomatoes, lettuce, grilled onions, cheese, mustard and ketchup it looked similar to the picture on their menu and he loved it. Unfortunately I didn't get a chance to try it. For sure I will try some gumbo or jumbo shrimp soon.”

As far as the customer service go from what others have stated my customer service experience was great we had a small little issue that resolved it with no problem and the food was okay I do like the famous thin edge to edge pepperoni that is always one of my favorites now granted I have had better service at other donatos but theirs was just fine.”

It kind of sits in back of the parking lot with Bob Evans on one side of it so it's almost like if you don't know it's there or not paying attention driving past you'd miss it, and what a shame that would be! The atmosphere was cool, not all themed out but not a cluttered mess either. When I went a few people came but it wasn't very busy. The service was great. They have. A little game room to the side. Food was amazing and didn't take long to arrive. The portions for some reason looked huge to me. My friend who usually eats everything and some had enough leftovers for a good size snack. I got a peach margarita which you could taste the alcohol but taste the peach too, a good mix. Their bar had a nice selection incase you want something with a bit more bang. I took pictures of everything so anyone who cares too can see. Overall the price is a tad bit high but portions are big, so you get what you pay for. I will definitely be back when I want to splurge on some good food at a chill spot. I highly recommend this place if you like thus type of food!! A+”
