Greg worked with me on day 1 and it was refreshing to not be upsold or tricked into buying new irons. He was honest, helpful and spent a good hour or so with me making sure I found exactly what I needed tailored to my game. “We are very pleased with our new purchase. We bought a 2023 Polaris 450 from Jeremy. He was fantastic in working with us and allowed the sale to go smooth. There was a small mix up between sales floor and warehouse in which we had to wait a few days to pick up our new machine. We waited approximately 4 days mixed in with the holiday season to pick it up. Jeremy was excellent with communication, brought us the ramps, and loaded the machine for me. “I was a bit skeptical, but Ohio City came highly recommended, so I gave it a shot. I'm glad I did! It's a salvage yard in the middle of nowhere, so don't expect anything different. Ohio City serves a purpose, and does so well. The staff are professional in that they know what they are doing. Ron, behind the counter, is a perfect fit for who you'd hope to deal with. And, I got way more money for a gutted Honda Civic than I had expected. When you approach, pull your rig up on the scale along the right side of the building. Ron will say "okay" when it's time to pull around the building and be unloaded. Then it's back on the scale to get weighed out. Find a place to park out front, and go in through the man door by the scale to see Ron. I'm writing this detailed review, because it gives all the information I wish I had when visiting Ohio City the first time. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“This station is pretty big, there's plenty of parking for cars and trucks. I had to come eat some breakfast at the Hardee's they have located there. I like how they have a huge selection of electronics and other items and gadgets. Kind of reminds me of RadioShack back in the day. I wish my city had stations like this, I'd come here all the time if I could. The extra long windshield cleaners are definitely a plus. “Basically a slightly larger mom & pop lawn equipment sales and rental business. Everything about this place makes you feel like "You Matter!" This is my 1st tractor purchase and my sales guy "Duane" first listened to my yard needs and concerns, then asked me specific questions before guiding me to the most "cost effective" tractor for my circumstances. No high pressure sales here, just good product information that gives you enough data to feel like you're able to make an informed decision! He even share the history of the equipment and why it differs from the competition. I'm most pleased 😀! Erick Belmer Update after a month with this tractor, I now realize size matters! This place truly struggles with service needs. I got the tractor with a tiller already attached to the rear and with the loader bucket up front. Also got pallet forks and a grapple that I can't use because something called a 3rd function isn't available right now. I used the tractor for the 1st time to till the wife's garden and as soon as I lowered the tiller it stopped working. Called my neighbor who said "Someone cut the shaft to short. I called the dealer the next morning and they set a guy out the next morning. He changed it while I was at work. I went to use the tiller a week later and it wouldn't run at all. Call the dealership and they sent the same guy out. He said he accidentally put a shaft on that was to large, "diameter ". After that the tiller worked. Next I needed my pallet forks to move things only to find the pins wouldn't line up with the openings. Service department told me I needed to drill the hole bigger. I refused and returned the pallet fork for them to repair. Then the service technician says, we need to cut metal off your tractor to make it fit. Lots of problems. No longer pleased. Update! I reached out to the manager/Owner who abruptly apologized for everything that was happening with my tractor. Like the rest of the staff at Holmes Rental and Sales, everything they do and say feels like they Genuinely Care and are truly looking out for you even if everything isn't going as planned. They immediately reached out to the pallet fork builder and had me a new set in about a week,,,,,, which still didn't fit. The guy that brought them out couldn't believe it. He put both sets of pallet forks on the trailer along with my tractor and said, "I'll Be Back!" True to his word, they had to make a minor adjustment to the pallet forks, not the tractor. All fixed now!! They are working on getting my 3rd function valve for my grapple now. I'm most pleased now!! I'm a customer that has purchased the smallest least expensive tractor they sell,, and they've put me on the Front Burner to get me taken care of!!! Again,,,I'm Most Pleased!!! Erick Belmer”

Other chain stores are stressful for him because of all the bright lights and so much commotion going on. Hamilton Hobby shop is where he always wants to go. You can't beat the prices either.
