We started off with the fried green tomatos, which I was a little iffy about ordering just because it's not something I'd normally get, but we were so glad we did. They were so crispy, and the toppings were delicious. For dinner, I had steak with polenta (substitution for potatoes) and brussel sprouts. Personally, I very rarely order steak out just because I love the way my former chef husband cooks it that no where compares, but I gave it a try and it was SO GOOD. It was cooked and seasoned perfectly with a delicious compound butter. The polenta was also perfectly cooked, so creamy and cheesy; best I've ever had and I really love polenta. I had the special coconut drink and a blueberry (?) martini. We had creme brulee. Everything honestly was just perfect. I love patronizing locally own establishments, and this one is fantastic. The atmosphere, food, and service are amazing. We don't get to go out often but we'll definitely be back!”

“Dr. Block is such a great Doctor. He always takes the time to listen to your concerns and address them properly. He is sure to explain things in a way a common person would understand. One thing I love about him, is he always address more than what you go in for. For example, I went in for problems with Migraines, he first addressed that but first but then asked me how I have been since a recent surgery I had, how is my back pain (which I was experiencing over a year ago), how am I feeling mentally, etc. He always does a thorough check up too, blood pressure, listen to heart, look at eyes and ears, etc. You may think "big whoop" but I have been to doctors in the past that don't do that, they just address why you are there and push you out the door, like herding cattle. Dr. Block is a family doctor, he cares about you. I am so glad I found him! I have been going to him almost 5 years now. ** Also have to give a shout out to his nurse Julie, she is such a sweet heart **”

“I've had a terrible fear of dentists all my life, and never once did I go-to one and come out feeling any differently, until Dr. D and his staff. I cannot say enough about them, I still have the fear, but not like I used to. They are all so comforting, and understanding, and Dr. D has worked magic working on my teeth, I have exceptionally long deep roots, and having an extraction in past was difficult for other dentists and they insisted on putting me to sleep, and I am one who does not do well with that,. Dr. D extracted a tooth for me and even though it was difficult he got it done. I will never go anywhere else as long as he is still doing dentistry and manages to put up with me and my teeth! If I could give them all more than 5 stars I would!”
