“We stay here every August and October for shaker in the woods and Christmas in the woods. The rooms are very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. They will make your stay enjoyable. Great location with the very good restaurant next door. Amy is a great asset to the motel. She remembers us every year. I don’t write reviews but this is the best place I’ve stayed in all my travels. The breakfast is always great with a chef that has been there for 22 years.”

“We’re new to the Commercial Point area, so prior to moving we thought we’d try out a local establishment. The service was great, the atmosphere was pleasant and my food experience was really good. Full disclosure, at the time I wasn’t eating meat, but my Mac and Cheese was creamy and flavorful and the salad was crisp and delicious. My husband got wings which he fully enjoyed and my son got the loaded fries. The fries are fresh cut and delicious! Fast forward to yesterday, and after having lost too much weight (not eating meat) and tired from unpacking, I had a taste for barbecue. This time I was ready for all Station House 81 had to offer. I got two pulled pork sliders and a brisket slider in a basket and it did not disappoint! My husband got the pork belly and it was awesome. The food was so good, I’m getting ready to call in an order for tonight to try something else. If you have a taste for barbecue or homestyle cooking, skip the chain restaurants and make the trip to Station House 81. And don’t forget to leave a great review, they deserve it!”

“Doc Costa was my delivering OB/GYN at Soin, and had it not been her deciding on an early (2wk) delivery due to borderline preeclampsia I'm not sure what might have happened. Found out afterwards via bloodwork & placental testing that I definitely had preeclampsia. My bp numbers were reading high upper numbers with normal lower numbers for the last 3 weeks of my pregnancy, ntm the last couple of months my asthma reappeared - haven't suffered asthma since I was 7 years old! Met with all of the doctors on staff there, and while they are all great, Doc Costa and Doc Crawford are by far our favorites. Wonderful bedside demeanor, informative, knowledgeable, and took their time with me and all of my inane WebMd/Doc Google mini freakouts. Doc Costa & co were awesome during my birthing process - listened to our concerns and thoroughly explained what the next steps and expectations were. Also, they were all awesome at dealing with my ridiculous word vomit ramblings after my meds were introduced (and I wanted to do laughing gas... pffffft!) It was an amazing experience for my first child, and I only wish I could have 5 more so we would have our own 1st line hockey team for CBJ. Who knows... maybe we'll be back in a year or so for some MOAR!!! ;) ”

Today as we were pulling up right away we noticed the barrier was up and a grounds keeper collecting debris and washing the complete boat ramp. Well tonight as many people as I asked where to find the best steak , I came in to the club with a very high expectation and they surpassed even my highest most critical standard. From a former chef of 15 years and successful business owner who helped start countless brick and mortars and food trucks and small businesses, I can attest this place keeps on earning their title as number 2 in the entire country for best experience. If you are cheap or have low standards please do not darken this door. My hostess Peggy did a phenomenal job of professional courtesy and recommendations. She even taught me something I never knew about Cesar dressing (that it commonly gets made with anchovies). I got the 20 oz ribeye with garlic mashed potatoes, a house Cesar salad fresh and crisp, and the oh so detectible creamy spinach. I ordered my steak in between medium rare and medium and the chef nailed it!!!!!! I bathed in the perfect char and oh so tender texture of this beautiful cut of meat . Every bite took me further away from reality as I got to enjoy the tantalizing and exciting flavors of a PERFECT steak!!!!!! You will be hard pressed to find such an experience anywhere else. I am now glad to say I'm an official member of the pine club!!!! Don't change a thing , y'all are killing it!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
