Personally, I had a great experience attending Lake Catholic and I would recommend it to any upcoming freshmen, especially those involved in the performing arts. Most of the people who gave the school low ratings or negative reviews were not involved in the performing arts department and it shows. Mr. Posey, Mr. Slike, Mrs. Bretz, and all of the staff and students involved down band hall made my high school career the best 4 years of my life and i couldn’t be thankful enough for my experiences. Being in a community that is so fun, accepting, and inspiring has truly helped me to grow into the confident, hard working, and determined person I am today. Through the many activities I participated in down band hall, I learned what it takes to succeed inside and outside of the classroom. If you are considering sending your kid to Lake Catholic, please disregard the negative reviews on google and ask a current or prior student about their experiences face to face. The majority of people I know have loved their experience at Lake Catholic, and would love to tell you about all of the great things it has to offer. If you are sending your kid to Lake Catholic in the future, please heavily encourage them to get involved in the performing arts, whether it be piano or guitar classes, participating in band or choir, or even being involved in the plays or musicals. I can guarantee that it will greatly impact their Lake Catholic experience for the better, and it will be something you will not regret :) Deciding to go to Lake Catholic was one of the best decisions I've ever made, and I will be forever grateful for the friendships I've gained, opportunities I've been given, and memories that will last a life time!”

“5 months ago today I started a journey that I’ve always felt the need to do and be apart of, just never knowing how to make it come to fruition. I started going and being involved with church of the open door. Going that first Sunday all alone I was filled with anxiety of if I was going to enjoy it, if I could find a spot where I fit in, and find a group of people to make into a second family. I wanted to go in and just fly under the radar to feel it out. But to my dismay the greeters at the front door swooped me up and took me over to the welcome desk. And from that moment on I knew that I was at a second home for myself. In the past four months I’ve met some amazing people who I’m proud to call my friends and so many people have helped to make me feel welcomed and a sense of belonging. I truly believe after the year my family had in 2022 God is trying to pull me in close and there was no better place for that to happen than at Open Door. From Sunday service, helping in children’s ministry, and going to my life group every Tuesday night it’s hard to imagine how my life looked just a few short months ago before I began this journey. I’m so excited to see what the Lord has in store for me. ❤️”

“Lovely church building all on one floor. The parking lot that surrounds the church is quite adequate for a good number of cars. There is a playground for children with slide, swings, and jungle gym. The inside has library, sanctuary, meeting rooms, office etc. They have a preschool program. Sunday worship is 8:00am &10:30 am with adult Bible class at 9:15 am”

“I just have to say these guys are the real deal! I’ve been looking for a roof rail for my Subaru for weeks, and since it is discontinued, my only hope so I’ve been eBay and checking junkyards to order online. I finally stumbled upon a site that gave me parts from junkyards around my state and found the part I needed from Marshall’s. FOR CHEAPER THAN EVERYONE ELSE TOO! Not even exaggerating they saved me hundreds of dollars on a discontinued junk part that people are taxing for everywhere else. I called to confirm that they had it, the gentleman and told me how I can order it online so they can start pulling apart so it would be ready by the time I am off work. I lived about a half hour away and could only make it in about a half hour before they closed. They didn’t try to shoo me away or tell me they couldn’t or try to make it in the time crunch or anything like that. Simply told me to make sure I confirm it by ordering online and they’d get me taken care of. I gotta say these men went above and beyond expectations. I really only needed one side rail but I just ordered both to be safe since it didn’t specify which side, and the price for both already beats the price of one from any other ebay seller or any dealer that happens to have the part in stock for $400! For one rail too. These guys got me both rails, and even hooked me up and tossed in the crossbars, once again that people overcharge for online. And on top of that, they took it apart to help make sure it fit in my car. Literally a half hour before closing when any other business could have easily shrugged me off or given me some attitude/hassle about it. Hands down some of the best and honest service I’ve received. I really appreciate and I genuinely thank all of you guys there that got me taken care of! Give these guys a call if you can seriously!”

“Smoked dry rub wings were tastey, not to smokey, if ordering again Is go ahead and commit to the sauce being tossed versus dipping. Avocado Bacon Burger, our complaint was once the large chunk of avocado fell off it didn't have a whole lot of other flavor, wish the avocado was actually the guac with it's zesty flavor combo, or add an aioli. The Roadside Burger was perfect the way it was, hotter peppers would be delicious but honestly it was good. A bit disappointed in standard chips versus the homemade kettle chips. The beers were ask really tastey. We tried a couple and not one was bad. Will definitely be coming back.”
