The doctor here will continue to help you with your recommendations even after you get your card which is very important because employment policies are changing. Even after I had my card for 6 months my job (oilfield) required doctor’s professional opinion before I could return to duty. Which isn’t easy if you go somewhere that want see you after you again after leave. Should def ask about that upfront wherever you think about going.
