The best dish was the beef fajitas with the Mexican potatoes and topped with the white queso. That was a 5 star in my book. The other dishes were still good as well but closer to 4 star in my opinion. We will go back again.”

She shared with me that she and her husband were with this church from its inception and that they took great pride in the good it does for its congregation and the local community. Based on my impression of her, I imagine Newcastle Christian Church to be as welcoming and warm and kind she is. Her husband has since passed and I feel grateful to have had the pleasure of meeting Calvarene and hearing her story.
