Nice, big, dog park with separate sections for small dogs vs. big dogs. Lots of trees for shade. Several agility course items and water near the ground for the dogs. Bags provided. Nicest dog park I have ever seen.
Quiet location away from traffic, two playground areas with picnic tables for the adults.
Poop bags are stocked and fresh running at the fountains!
Two thumbs up! If you don’t find shade here, you were not here.
(Not Wheelchair Accessible)
Trapped in the Bark Park.
Thank you to the Muskogee Police that helped me today.
I've loved bringing my mobility assistance service dog here while I could still walk. For a couple of years now, I've been in a wheelchair and today was the first time that I've been able to go back and go in with my service dog. (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
It was a bit of a painful drop getting in. And it really looked like I could get back out but, I couldn't.
I know that when I was walking it was wheelchair accessible but it looks like the slope to the gate at the front has washed away over the years and it took 3 officers to get me, in my chair, back out.
It was very embarrassing but they were super nice about it and assured my fiancé and myself that they'd talk to the parks and recreation department and make it wheelchair accessible again.
I still love this park and so does Pip. I can't wait until we're able to visit safely again.
I'll update once it's wheelchair accessible again. （・◇・）
Great shady dog park, lots of trees with places for people to sit, connects to trail system, small dog side is a very good size (large dog side is much bigger), both sides are clean and well kept. We pit stop here frequently
Took my two pups here a little after 6pm for a stretch and run and to check it out a bit. It's a beautiful park with a lot of space for running and playing like a huge backyard. They have structures there for training tricks and doing various exercises, like on dog shows. There's a play area separate for the small pups so they don't get overwhelmed by the larger friends. Plenty of seating for us humans to enjoy watching our companions romp around. Plus even a portable potty on site to use. They really thought of everything here.
