Wonderful time spent with Sharra... What a talented, gifted lady! She can turn anything (and everything!) into a work of art. Her water color paintings are absolutely beautiful. Had the privilege of watching her begin one of an owl...fascinating!

I’ve always been envious of those with the ability to draw, paint etc. I’ve never been able to regardless how hard I tried or sat myself down to make myself create something that didn’t look like a 5 year old. I finally sat down in Sharra’s class to paint knowing it wouldn’t turn out and just leave frustrated. I was shocked! I left with actual artwork that is hanging in my house and it was so easy, fun, and enjoyable to create unlike the past. I found it very relaxing and a great way to de-stress. Every class is different and personable. It’s impossible to leave without your spirits high and a one of a kind piece of art in your hand. Sharra’s knowledge on watercolor is endless and it shows during class and throughout her beautiful home. I highly recommend her classes for all ages.

Amazing woman! I met Sharra about six months ago. Immediately, I felt a kindness and acceptance from this beautiful lady. She welcomed me into her home. Surrounded by the rustic beauty of the cabin, wildlife & foliage of the property, and the huge gallery walls with painting after painting of her various works. Wander through & get up close to see each one. Birds, ballerinas, buffalo, eyes, faces, flowers. Dogs, penguins (!), abstracts, portraits. You will. Be awestruck.
Then, get a cup of coffee (or whatever) & get down to business! While she’s entertaining with stories, she is training in techniques and tricks of her watercolor trade. She demands (nicely!) that there are no rules, and helps one to see the shapes, shadows & colors that make up the work in progress. In the end, you spent a few hours with this exceedingly talented, impish art-sprite & go home smiling. AND you get to take something you have created, with her masterful hands & eye leading you.

Sharra's art class is one of my favorite ways to de-stress and let my creative mind take over. A place where there are no rules and imperfection is encouraged! Not only do I walk away feeling renewed, but also with a beautiful piece of art to add to the home decor. You absolutely DO NOT need to have any experience. Sharra will make sure you leave with a work of art that you're proud of.

Sharra's watercolor classes are so much fun! Her beautiful log cabin studio in north Edmond feels like you are painting in a rustic French Country house. She is an excellent art teacher and even though I am a beginner, I felt proud of my painting when I was finished. I would highly recommend trying out her Saturday/Sunday watercolor classes or booking a group painting party/event!
