We saw several doctors that disregarded what was happening with my son. Then there was one who listened. Her energy is infectious, and her knowledge is above par. We are so grateful for Dr. Shambayati.There are not words magnificent enough!
Definitely will look forward to working with this team to treat my daughter. DR. S was super nice and had a great way of breaking down all the medical terms into easy to understand language for me and my teen. She walked us through the treatment plan and provided additional information on how we will proceed
We saw Dr. Shambayati for the first time last week and she is phenomenal!! She immediately put my daughter and I both at ease, LISTENED to our concerns and didn't make us feel rushed, was very thorough, explained everything in a way that my 12 year old could understand and gave us appropriate and acceptable expectations. She is booked out several months but trust me when I say that she is definitely worth the wait!! It's been a long time since we've left a specialist appointment feeling relieved and hopeful for the future.
Long wait for first visit (~5 months)but doctor was very nice, thorough, and understanding. She communicates well with teens and appreciated the reassurance and information that she took the time to provide. I felt better about transferring care back in state.
Dr. Shambayati is amazing with our daughter. As a former micro-preemie, she’s tiny and a very slow grower. We’ve been working with her for over a year on finding ways to help her get her nutritional needs met without immediately jumping into feeding tubes. She cares about her patients and wants the best for them, even when it’s not the quickest and easiest option for her. We absolutely love her!
