Bodine Elementary School

I have enjoyed teaching at this school for 11yrs. In '99 the school was a great place with military families and parents who cared about their students. A downward turn happened in 2004 so I left. I've heard that from 2004-2012 were really BAD years with many principals passing-through and little to no discipline. I returned in 2012 in time to see Nikki Coshow as the new principal and the RENAISSANCE of the school.

Bodine is NOT the same school that it was and I am happy to say that I have had a part in helping its renewal too. We ALL have. From students, to parents, to teachers, to administration. It takes ALL of us to be keep ALL of us accountable. We are doing great things at Bodine and the whole STATE is noticing!!!

Sadly we will always have those few parents who want to "dump" on the school and place blame on everyone but themselves for their poor life choices or their child's lack of success. IT IS A PARENTS JOB TO RAISE THEIR OWN KIDS!!! Teachers are just here to HELP educate them...

I love the fact that my kids feel safe here and they always look forward to the next day. The teachers are great but I wish they would communicate more with the parents. This school year we are determined to make it a great one! Love love love the new play ground! Very sweet gift for the kids ❤

I was at Bodine for 5 years, and I loved it all the teachers were great! Yes Bodine has some problems but if I had the choice I would go back (:

I've heard a lot about this school. I really pray that these kids don't fall through the cracks. They really need a lot of encouragement from the teaches, staff, and parents.
