I've got to give a HUGE shout out to the very best, caring and genuine Officer at the SW Devision Police Department! Mr. Alexander! He has been such an amazing man everytime he has been called out to my home. He is patient, he listens, he's understanding and goes above and beyond his call of duty while on the streets! He's one that we wish they all could be. My daughter called me tonight and asked if I had called the Police (?) I told her, no I haven't, what's going on? She told me that the neighbors seen an Officer knocking on my door, so I called 911 and asked what was going on. The dispatcher looked it up for me and told me they had a check up for my address. A few minutes later, Mr. Alexander called me to tell me that it was him and he was looking for Vanessa and I, over something that we've discussed a week or so ago. This man did what he said he was gonna do, and if either of us needed him...to call and ask for him. He's never ceases to amaze me, and when I do have to call them, and he shows up...I'm extremely relieved and a sense of calm comes over me when I see his face. I appreciate that he cares. There's one more that fits this bill, Mr. Allen ? I thank the both of you, from the bottom of my heart! People, they are not all bad! They're people, just like us.

Many thanks to the officers at this substation! (1) when my car was broken into, I was hesitant about filing a report after having some not-so-pleasant reporting experiences in other jurisdictions outside oklahoma and okc. The officer who took my report at this substation last November was super helpful and pleasant to work with, and never once refused to take a report like I was used to. (2) during a recent flooding situation, the water looked too high to pass at portland/54th. I made a u-turn to the police station instead of going through the intersection, and the officers agreed to let me leave my car in their parking lot while I found another ride for the rest of the way to my job. Thanks to them, my tiny car did not wind up in high water, I was not towed, and I made it to work on time. Thanks y'all!
