“Service department: I'm not sure what to think. I followed my favorite service tech from another dealership to this one. I got a $10,000 (yes, 4 zeroes) quote to fix my old VW. I can purchase a working, running, vehicle for $2,000. I guess if I weren't on SSDI, that $10,000 quote might have convinced me to purchase a new car. I have to wonder if that was the goal. Instead, I got a second opinion about the noise my car was making. My undercarriage was broken & dragging, and my friend removed it and then no more concerning noise. No, my car isn't Daytona500 ready, but I can still drive it without coming up with $10,000 to "fix" it. Sales department: As far as sales departments go, I did talk to a sales person while I waited. Papa Faye was very nice, professional, and helpful, and I'd welcome his help in choosing my next vehicle if I thought I would ever be able to afford another one.”
