I moved to Spencer under difficult circumstances, and generally dealing with government offices aren't a place one expects to be pleasantly surprised, but Spencer City offices was wonderful to work with. They were kind and got my water turned on minutes after I left their offices. Carla was especially kind and I appreciated it so much.
I have had to call the city 3 times about my sewer line backing up and everytime the women in the office are very nice and the crew usually arrives within 2 hours and always take care of the backup. I know the city has a big problem with the sewer system and it likely needs to be replaced but unfortunately the city has little to no money so I doubt it will be replaced anytime soon but I really appreciate the City of Spencer staff for their politeness hard work. Thank you.
