McAlister's Deli

Snowmagedon hit Owasso Oklahoma. Everything was closed except for McAlister's! This is a deli style restaurant where you order food, then find a seat and wait for someone to bring it to your table. The man taking our order said they were lucky to be open as other locations weren't able to. The dining room has tables marked unavailable in order to allow social distancing and masks are required. Once seated we only waited about 10 minutes for our food. We both got the choose two. Half a sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich was decent and had adequate toppings. The tortilla soup was the highlight. It was a perfect temperature and had a little bit of spice. This is restaurant is a great choice when you want something fast but not necessarily fast food.

The food here is always fresh and the employees go over and beyond expectations. A fabulous deal here is the children's garden salad. Don't be fooled by the children's title. It is what I would call medium size. It comes with one side and a cookie. I always get broccoli as a side and also ask for a scoop of their Harvest Chicken Salad. Best chicken salad in Tulsa.
