  This was my 2nd Hip Resurfacing procedure with Dr. Schmidt. Great staff. They cover all aspects of patient care well; pre-op testing, pre and post surgery requirements, therapy needs etc.
  The Pre-surgery appointment, Dr. Schmidt answered all my questions. I did my research prior to my first hip resurfacing. Dr. Schmidt is one of top Orthopedic doctors in the country for this particular procedure.
  I would highly recommend Dr. Schmidt at Bone and Joint Specialist for anyone looking at hip resurfacing rather than full replacement.

  The staff is great! The answer any and all questions you may have. Dr. Schmidt my 1st BH back in 2008 and it is doing good. no issues. I had my other BH done 2020 . Unfortunately there was an issue and he needed to reattach a tendon that came away from the bone. I am told this rarely ever happens. The surgery was successful. The tendon is secure to the bone. I am hoping that a lingering pain I am having in my IT band will eventually go away.
  Bottom line: Dr. Schmidt is a great. He definitely knows what he is doing.
  His follow up visits are exceptional. He does listen to any concerns you may have and will do everything possible to make sure you are satisfied and able to get back to your normal activities.

  Dr. Schmitt is the best. I highly recommend him. I have had two surgeries by him over the years, and he does a tremendous job. Follow up care is superb as well. You can't go wrong.
