Emergency visit got me in. Explained everything why n hpw they proceed . Very eased on how effecient it went.
Fantasic experience. Great Doc, great staff. Don't think about it. Just go.
No nonsense straight forward doc. Great office staff. What are you waiting for? Call them!
Bottom line, no more pain. No more limping.
Like many of you, my problems have been ongoing for many years. In 2002 I broke my leg near my right ankle. When the cast came off I couldn't walk without pain.
I purchased orthotics (with the golf ball effect) and after two weeks was back on my feet with no pain.
A year ago I was limping again. And after months of pain, I went back to The Good Feet Store. They exchanged my supports for new ones. I was hopeful that I would be able to walk straight again soon. But I was not. The pain persisted.
I went to see Dr. Nahmias because he was nearby and his office staff said that they accepted my medical insurance plan. I fully expected to receive a steroid shot and be on my way. Dr. Nahmias explained that I had two common issues with my left foot and that a shot wouldn't fix it.
My foot was bound with snug padded bandaging and I was asked to come back in a week.
In that week I could see that I was improving. Dr. Nahmias suggested custom orthotics that would solve my particular issue. He told me up front that they would cost $450 and that insurance would NOT pay for them. I agreed. His staff created a form for my foot and I was to wait 30 days for the final product.
The next week I was called by the office billing agent and told that my insurance was not covering my office visits at Dr. Nahmias' office and that I would have to bring in more than $300 dollars to my next visit.
I'm a teacher. And I already fully depleted my medical spending account to pay for the orthotics. I was frustrated. I told the staff member to cancel my appointments because I simply was unable to pay for them.
I did not pick up my orthotics for 10 weeks. I had to save up to pay my past due amount for 2 office visits that my co-pay didn't cover.
That was 30 days ago. Today I'm walking without pain.
The takeaway. 1. Call your insurance company yourself to be sure than your visits will be covered at this office. I relied on a member of this staff to assure me that I would be covered. They were wrong. This billing issue has negatively shaded an otherwise positive experience. 2. I was treated well by Dr. Nahmias and his staff. I believe they act with integrity. I was evaluated, treated for my condition, and proscribed something that works for me.
Today, there is so much snake oil being sold to people in pain. This office is the opposite of that. They under promise and over deliver.

Staff is awesome. I had a remarkable experience with both Dr. Nahmias and his staff. 1) Dr . Nahmias explained what procedures we're required pre and post surgery. I had surgery on both feet, and had little if no post surgical complications, very little swelling and bleeding. 2) Follow up care is remarkable. 3) Dr. Nahmias and his staff treated my family with respect and kindness. 4) This organization is #1 and I will recommend their office to anyone needing foot care.
