  Dr. Harwell is a great surgeon. He did two major surgeries on me, cervical and lumbar and I'm greatly appreciative of the good job he did. I'm very glad to still be walking and getting stronger everyday. He is not only a great surgeon but a great person too. I thank him for taking such good care of me.

  Every single time, I always feel like I matter. I have had HC providers who are not concerned with individual patients. Dr. Thambuswamy, Misty, Jessica, Tye, Ebony, and Jill are all STELLAR...always. They tolerate my crazy (or fear, or questions, or requests) and clearly choose to know me. Words cannot express how thankful I am. I miss Dr. Gaede and Barb, but they left me in wonderful hands.

  Dr. Mangels was very personable, passionate and compassionate. I was completely at ease and comfortable with him.. he exudes total professionalism and empathy while also having a strong personality and displaying complete confidence in his ability to help with my cervical spine needs. Definitely looking forward to the relief he can provide!!

  I am one of those folks who has been cursed with lower back problems for years. Despite intense discomfort, I postponed a surgical solution for as long as possible. Nature eventually forced me to have the surgery. In October 2019, Dr. Mangels performed L3-S1 fusion on my back. Today marks 10 months post-surgery, and I am doing great. Dr. Mangels is an excellent neurosurgeon. Great personality, highly skilled, and willing to spend time with the patient and answer any questions asked. I followed his recovery instructions to the letter, and I'm pleased with the outcome. I have no pain, plus I've been able to resume virtually any normal day-to-day activity that does not involve heavy lifting or high impact. Dr. Mangels and Tulsa Spine & Specialty Hospital can count me as a very satisfied patient.
