Mizel Jewish Community Day School

My son just began his third academic year at Mizel and we absolutely love this school. I have older children who attended other private schools and my only wish is that we had found this school for them. Mizel's curriculum includes instruction in art and music. The students have access to a community garden and the younger children especially enjoy planting and growing vegetables. The after school enrichment program is outstanding. We are Jewish, but there are many non-Jewish children who attend as well.

We have two kids at Mizel and we love this little school. The teachers are top notch. The classes are small; the academics are outstanding; and the curriculum is well rounded with art, music, and computers. But it's the little things that make this school so unique like when the kiddos go to the adjacent retirement community to read to their senior citizen buddy or when they sing songs at Friday Shabbat services. Mizel offers aftercare activities like yoga, circus/aerial arts, and computer coding for kids. We are not Jewish but we were welcomed into this kind, loving community and my kids have thrived as a result!

Wonderful, experienced teachers. Rounded curriculum with art, music, technology and physical fitness in addition to core subjects. All with small class sizes!
