“Without a doubt the best burger place I ever eaten at. Fresh flavorful meat with the perfectly toasted bun. Best burger place in the world. There’s no need for the extra gadgetry to pull in customers. Just a grill and stone building with a window.”

“Cute place and a staple for local residents. Fun options for sandwiches with interesting bread choices. I didn’t try it but they had a Dutch crackle bread which I had never heard of before. The homemade chips are ugly, but super tasty. Definitely recommend giving a try. Sandwiches are large enough they can easily be split with a friend. The photo featured is just a half of a sandwich.”

“Came here for an early dinner on a Sunday with a friend around 5:30pm. We got seated immediately, but when we left an hour later, there was a wait. It’s your typical diner, and there’s a bar in the middle where you can hang out and watch the game on one of the several large screen TVs. The waitress we had was very nice and attentive. She made sure to keep our water glasses full and take our order quickly. We both got the chicken fried steak (my first one) which came with your choice of two sides and toast. We asked for our diner salad to be brought out first and the dressing came out separately so you can control the portions. There was a lot of cheese on the salad (but I’m not complaining). The chicken fried steak was literally bigger than my head and so perfectly fried and crunchy. The steak inside was kinda bland but it was a super filling meal. I got tater tots on my side but the waitress had suggested getting mac & cheese which would have been the move. They do take credit cards and there’s bathrooms in the back left of the restaurant. Overall it was a good diner experience with hearty portions of food.”

“The ABSOLUTE BEST! A benchmark for Tulsa barbecue!! I'm definitely kicking myself for living in Tulsa area for decades and not trying this place until now! We came here for the first time last week and have returned to eat again today and they did not disappoint! It was a five-star experience on every level but here are the highs, for me: **THE FOOD: Ummm...flippin delicious!! I ordered a half-dozen smoked wings, coleslaw and a single rib. I can't say enough about the wings! That first bite is heavenly! Crisp skin on the outside and juicy on the inside. The coleslaw is mayo-based and on the runny side - and it's done really well. It is slightly sweet, just like good coleslaw should be. The rib meat came off the bone clean and had beautiful bark and smoke ring. The bite of mac and cheese my niece shared with me was surprisingly good and I would consider it a solid side choice for my next trip. **SERVICE: Super duper friendly, fast and accurate! You order and pay at the counter and they bring it to your table (what do you call that? Fast casual? Demi-service? Idk...) Payton was our order taker and brought our food out. He was fun and friendly but didn't intrude on our meal. He made our visit a very positive, memorable one! **ATMOSPHERE: The Harvard location is nestled in a converted gas station that you might otherwise just drive right past if you're not looking for it. On the inside it is tastefully decorated with vintage gas station decor and plenty of wood trim. Comfy, casual, cozy. All in all, Albert G's (Harvard) has earned a spot on my list of go-to Tulsa restaurants. A great place to take out-of-towners! And they are open on sunday's, which is rare for good barbecue places in this town. Important note: This applies only to the Harvard location. I have been to the downtown location but will NOT return. Ever. Night and day difference and I'll leave it at that. Happy eating!”

“Hands down the best burger I ever had. If you're looking for a good mom and pop shop, this is it. The woman at the counter is super nice and friendly. The cook came out and asked how the food was. The place wwas clean and not loud. My wife loves this place and wants to go back again.”

“I was walking around the Greenwood district learning both the amazing and tragic history of the place, and asked a young woman at the cultural center where I should eat. She told me about Wanda J's so I drove two blocks down the street and walked in. Tiny place, friendly, and outstanding soul food. I had liver and onions, collard greens, and brown beans. Maybe the best liver and onions I've eaten (it had a brown gravy on it, which I've never had with liver). I promised them I'd be back next time I was in Tulsa.”

“This place is one of the hidden gems of the Northside. They have weekday specials of pick four for 6.95 which is a good deal if your watching your wallet as well as a regular menu. No matter what you get, you're sure to get a good portion size that almost guarantees leftovers. I highly recommend calling in the order before going so the wait time is minimum.”

“We went during a 'soft opening' prior to opening day on 5/20, so we went with the expectation that everything wasn't quite ironed out. Our two children were with us and we were excited to try the newest spot at the Gathering Place. The overall experience was pleasant and relaxed. Views are great. Interior dining room was smaller than I expected. For those bringing kids, they have a verbal kids menu: hamburger, cheeseburger, grilled cheese, and chicken fingers all (I believe) with fries although one of our children ordered fruit. Kids ordered cheeseburgers. All the "ingredients" were there for an excellent cheeseburger, but both were over cooked. Kids loved the sides. Entrees we ordered were the margherita pizza and fried chicken and jasmine rice. Both were terrific. Enjoyed an 'Aviation' from the bar. Service was great, staff was knowledgeable. Had vanilla bean cheesecake and 'chocolate explosion' for dessert. Both came with raspberries and were awesome.”

“The freshly cooked chicken strips are amazing! There burgers are fresh and are real beef! What's not to love about the ice cream? If you want wholesome fast food give them a try!”

“I frequently order the breakfast from them. It is always consistently good and hot. Great service every time that I frequent the restaurant. The only thing that I can think they can improve on is giving napkins with every order. Even if it's just 1 taco. African Americans like maintaining a good hygiene after eating a simple taco!”

“This place is the best tattoo shop I’ve ever been to. Dropped in for a consultation, and two days later I was in for my appointment. The artists are INCREDIBLY talented and also very versatile, so whatever you’re looking for you’ll be able to find in their portfolios. My artist was Jentle.Death and she KILLED it! I gave her a concept and what I was thinking, and she went and drew up a unique design and I couldn’t be happier with the outcome (except for when it’s fully healed up!). Great value for the time spent and if you find the artist you’re looking for TRUST THEM: they won’t let you down!”

“I've never written a complimentary letter in my life but the actions of your employee Chace deserves recognition. I stopped at your Richardson branch (1405 E. Renner) on December 21st with the intention of cashing in a jar of coins for my 12 year old. The money was to be added to her funds to buy Christmas presents. To make the stakes even more exciting I told her to pick between $40 or she could have the money in the jar. She nervously picked the money in the jar. To our surprise the bank didn't have a machine that counted coins so instead it had to be done manually by the teller. Chace was our teller and he had a phenomenal attitude as he placed the coins in the plastic holder. He was not only patient and engaging but he also expressed excited interest to see if she had made the right decision by turning down the $40. The final amount was $39.85 so she wasn't disappointed. When we first got out of the car to walk into the bank she asked me why I banked at Wells Fargo and I really didn't have a great answer. When we walked out I was happy to tell her that this experience is why I've been banking with Wells for almost 20 years. Thank you to Chace for being part of this memory and justifying my 20 years as a customer.”
