“I own a Dodge diesel and had an issue with the turbo, I had originally taken my pickup to another mechanic shop to whom I will not name but I do give 1 star to.....they wanted to charge an astronomical amount to repair the turbo and then told me that my head gasket was leaking and that HAD to be replaced first.....I decided to shop around because I was going to wait to do the repairs and I came across Performance Auto and Diesel....I called and was talking to the Steve the owner and he shared valuable information on what was going on with my vehicle and his price to do the same repair was a lot less. He spent time with me on the phone to help me figure out what exactly was wrong and what can be done. He spent this time knowing that I might not bring my pick up to his shop....I appreciated that. In the end I decided to take my pick up to his shop and asked him several times to charge me an extra shop rate hr for the time on the phone...his response was " I will not do that to you, I want to make sure you are helped and happy with your repair. I'd rather have your long term business and referral" I will say that I am very pleased with his professionalism on the phone and work. Their shop is super clean and they honestly do care about their customers...they are definitely not trying to upsell or gouge your pocket. They have definitely earned my business and referrals! Thank you Steve and the gang!”
