“Excellent food, friendly staff, and quick service made our first time trying Famous Dave's very positive! First impression on walking in was that it smells incredible from all the meats smoking and cooking in the back, and it looks extremely clean which a lot of BBQ places can't really say about themselves. We started with the loaded fries which were pretty tasty although not the crispiest even for wedge cut fries, but it also was a Sunday and they're really only on the menu weekdays so it was nice of them to make it for us regardless. The jalapeños on top are fresh cut, not the canned and pickled variety, and I love that because the fresh peppers have a totally different flavor profile and heat to them that I prefer. For dinner my wife had the 6 rib plate, while I had the 4 rib and Spare Ribs combo. Honestly, we could have just split the full order of ribs and still had leftovers, and I'm a guy that could put away an entire Little Caesars pizza by myself so that's saying something. You get a LOT of food. The ribs are not the dinky little ribs you get other places, they're closer to the size of beef ribs than any of the pork ribs I've had at other restaurants with famous ribs. They're extremely tender but not so cooked that they don't have any texture left, and the sauce is perfectly caramelized on top. The spare ribs are good too and they come with a cup of fairly spicy sauce that had a pleasant tingle and was a middling consistency neither too runny or too thick. Each combo comes with some sides you can choose, and they're pretty standard BBQ fare like mashed potatoes, corn on the cob, green beans, BBQ beans, etc. and the corn on the cob was our choice (great choice too). But the star of the sides is their cornbread, which is moist and sweet unlike most places that go with the more dry and savory style, and I could eat like 3 pounds of it if I had the chance. 5/5 we'll be back for seconds! Right after we finish our leftovers, that is.”

There indoor sitting is very limited but they have a beautiful patio with a nice Mexican tiled fireplace. Patio also has heaters and they keep blankets on a chair on every table giving it a totally different and fun experience. The facility is clean but they can surely improve it for the patio when it comes to the tables. There spicy salsa is really spicy but a must try for Chile lovers.”

Next time we order from there and if we get the same thing gonna ask for less veggies in the pepper steak and onion and more steak. Gonna order the sweat and sour with no rice. Lol This Chinese food was 100% better then when we had Chinese food from Legend Cafe. We ordered from grub hub or one of those apps. Everything tasted horrible and spent a lot of money. Called them to tell them the sesame chicken didn't look nor tasted like sesame chicken. It was try, no sesame seeds and wasn't sweet at all. The rice was even horrible. My husband was talking to the guy that answered and the guy was extremely rude. Trying to tell him about the sesame chicken being all wrong, but as soon as my husband said that we order from grub hub he basically said whatever was wrong that its there fault. He didn't let my husband tell him that the food was horrible and wrong. I was saying how can it be grub hubs fault they didn't cook our food. They placed the order and delivered.”

The potato salad and cream corn are delicious. The cream corn is Very creamy, and tastes like buttered cornbread. We like getting a meat sampler with the white bread and making our own sandwiches. “The food is good, but for what it is, a bit overpriced. I asked for plantain chips for dipping. I was charged at least $5 and got these sugar coated plantains that were just awful. It was clearly a misunderstanding, but it really upset me. We ordered food for just two people and the total came to more than $40 and we didn’t even dine-in OR get it delivered. I drove to pick it up. I still can’t believe it cost over $40 for two people to eat. Note, this included no drinks or desserts. I would honestly give them a much lower rating, because I absolutely hate being taken advantage of and ripped off, but they’re just starting out. I’m hoping they can get it together in time and adjust their prices to be more reasonable. I can’t say I’ll return, but to support a new business, check it out. Be very wary of the prices though! Also, this upset me so much, because we order sushi from a much higher end restaurant AND pay to have it delivered (5.5 miles away). Our total including the tip and delivery fee is LESS than our total here. It’s very aggravating.”
