“I will admit. I miss the old owners of this place. They were always friendly and heartwarming people. On to the review. The new owners of this place are just as busy. And as nice. Paradise donuts as a business still makes a superb donut. My favorite is still the glazed donut. They are soft. Warm if you come early, and the glaze to donut ratio is perfect. I will admit that it will compare if not surpass quality goodness to a krispy creme donut. The owners may of changed. But the place and quality of their product they produce is just as good as before if not better. They open up fairly early. I've been there 4:30am. Multiple times. Basically...If the lights are on the darkness of Fort Gibson. The doors are open.. Price for a single glazed donut is really cheap for the donut heaven goodness they make... It really is a paradise in the middle of Fort Gibson..”

The soups and sandwiches were great and I enjoyed the roasted peanuts as well. From groceries to craft items, you can find it all at Miss Marys! “It is time to stop for some diesel and so we find ourselves at Guthrie Travel Center, or as my husband calls it Velaro's. There is also a Golden Chick eatery inside, but it is temporarily shut down due to remodeling. We weren't here too long to check everything out, but what we did see was a little strange for a gas station. First off, I was running not walking to the restroom cause...you know this girl had to go! The restroom didn't smell bad, but there were wadded up paper towels on the counter, toilet paper on the floor and coming out of some of the stools. There was also a scale and a changing station in there. I couldn't get some of the faucets to work until I tried the very last one then BINGO we have a winner! Still not sure how I feel about those motion sensor things. By the time I came out, my husband had done fueled and was heading into the men's restroom, which he said was clean. I started looking around and taking pictures. Actually the store smelled clean. One of the employees was wiping down his counter, continuously spaying cleaner all over. I also saw the door to the Golden Chick that had been closed off with plastic hanging down from the ceiling, boards on the floor and with saw dust. Along with tons of fully stocked food, snacks and drinks was a corner filled with other products to purchase. Some of the items I've never seen before in a truck stop. The first to catch my eye was the white heads, for just $10.99 you can buy wig holders here! They also have very warm looking parkas.. aren't we about out of that season? There was also hats, sunglasses, purses, shirts, a kite on the wall that looks as though it didn't belong there along with the boxed up dolls at the top of the shelves holding the 2 lt. soda bottles and the wines. We didn't end up buying anything here except the fuel, though I do want to mention that other than the guy so focused on cleaning his counter, at the other counter near the entrance was a young man sitting that greeted us both when we came in and upon exiting. He's kind of hidden where he's seated, but was friendly and smiling.. this has been an interesting stop.”

“Saturday afternoon. Randomly got a flat in the highway. Pull over and of course no tire shops have low profile tires. I call Latinos and he somehow has a pair of the size that I need. He even came and picked up my wheels, installed the tires and brought them back and helped put it on. Literally saved me and I was able to make it 200 miles home! Excellent pricing and was quick and responsive! Thank you!!”
