“Today was one of the worst days of my life. My senior fur baby, Bella had to be euthanized. She suffered a leg injury that left us with not a lot of options for her particular situation. I called many vets and Sooner Vet was the only one that could work us in…and that is in part thanks to Pat. Thank you so much Pat! The whole staff took great care of us from beginning to end. I couldn’t ask for a better vet tech than Ke’Auna. She was super sweet, empathetic, and took excellent care of my Bella. She clipped her nails and also gave me some hair clippings to keep. There were other techs that assisted that were great too! Dr. Stallings was just AMAZING. She explained everything in detail and took the time to show me the x-rays. She made sure my Bella was comfortable until the end. They did not rush me and this was at the end of the long day! I plan on taking all my fur babies here in the future. ❤️”

“A caution right off the bat: If you have a dog that is cat aggressive and/or has a strong prey drive, there is an office cat (a very cute and friendly one) here that roams the lobby freely, so be careful with that. I am extremely thankful to have found this vet clinic and Dr. Mackenzie. My dog had significant trauma from previous vet experiences. I am always on the hunt for people (vets, groomers) who are willing to take the proper time and care with my dog and not rush things. My experience with the staff here was ideal. Both the vet tech and Dr. Mackenzie reassured me they are certified fear-free (which they voluntarily shared with me, I didn't even ask!). This was a huge relief, as so many vets do not properly understand dog body language, behavior, and psychology (even though all will claim they do). They both were very patient with my dog and with my questions/concerns, very informative, and everything went smoothly. The billing was clear, priced within reasonable expectation, and the facility seemed nice and clean. I couldn't be happier with my experience. This will 100% be my go to vet now, as long as I'm in the area! Thank you!”

“I speak from the experience of having these folks as our personal vets for 20 years when we lived in Chouteau. They helped us through a very traumatic time with a favorite dog that we lost to cancer. They left no stone unturned in trying to find a treatment that would help 'Baby' & was affordable to us. In the end we lost her to the cancer but Mike & Linda were both so compassionate & supportive during that time & did everything they could to save our beloved dog. I also worked closely with them in dog rescue. They treated countless dogs for us & never did we take a dog to them that they were not willing to help us in the process of getting them healthy so they could be adopted. Every stray dog was treated like a beloved family pet with tender, loving care. I can highly recommend Green Country Animal Hospital for the care of your pets. We have moved back to Chouteau after being in Texas for 4 years & we are so glad to be able to take our dogs to Mike & Linda to get their shots & care. Won't go anywhere else!”
