About to embark on a cross country road trip, I was referred to Ruben's by a staff at Canby Grove where I was staying. My brakes were in desperate need of replacing.
Oscar was real with me, courteous, and made me feel safe.
Their inspection was thorough. They took the time to help me what was going on with my van and ultimately let me make the decision for additional work with little pressure.
Months later they check up on me and my Astro Van to ensure all was well!

They also have a neat online link they provide that allows you to access the work that has been done/things they've noticed on your vehicle.

Let it be said, I miss them and their honesty a lot as I search for a new mechanic. If I'm ever in Oregon again, I know where to go!

I came from another auto shop with an expensive repair diagnostic to replace 2 knock sensors. Ruben’s did a more thorough review and sent me pictures of the problem...severed wires due to mice. The knock sensor turned out to be fine (as Oscar suspected) and only the wire harness was replaced. Oh, and they told me there was only one knock sensor on my car. They saved me money and took more time to walk me through everything. Their service and care was patient and thorough. I’ll be coming back for sure!

Had DEF sensor and EGR issue on my Ford powerstroke engine. During repair it was discovered bolts holding the exhaust system together had failed. Oscar diagnosed all the issues and repaired them in a timely manner. Service was friendly, competent and confident. Will definitely go back.
