  I am currently at the Residential facility. The staff here has been great, and attentive to any needs, questions or concerns. My therapist, Kristy, is the best. She has a pleasant demeanor, and knows just how far to take you to recognizing clinical needs. We worked together on my treatment plan both here and for afterI leave. I will be proud to walk out of here with 22 days sober under my belt. All my best to all!

  Everyone here at Recovery First have worked together to lay out everything I never knew I needed for lasting recovery. With the help of everyone here I have begun to retrain my mind and lay down a solid foundation for lasting recovery. I am leaving with a detailed blueprint that will show me exactly what I need to do in order to be successful in life. I sincerely express my most sincere gratitude to everyone involved. Thank you.

  Overall, they provide all the tools necessary to stay successful in recovery. This is by no means a resort, any "amenities" are what you can bring with you.
  With that being said, it's in the name, "Recovery First". The staff embody the recovery mindset, nearly all staff are addicts in recovery. The staff goes above and beyond to put your recovery first, and ensure you leave there feeling much better, as well as properly equipped to continue in long term recovery.

  When I came to Recovery first detox I wasn’t so sure it was definitely different from the other detoxes I been to. I was scared of course but I was tired I was tired of lying and running from myself. In my active addiction I would do anything to get what I needed so I told myself I can’t judge a book by its cover I had to try my own experiences what do I have to lose right. So I decided to give this place a try. When I arrived everybody was so welcoming the staff the clients it was like a big family nobody didn’t judge me and I felt the love right away. When I finish the detox process and came to residential it was a whole new ballgame I didn’t know what to expect, once again I was scared and closed off. The people were just the same. As soon as I arrived everybody was welcoming to me with lots of love being here at recovery first has taught me a lot about myself I had to love myself before I can love anybody this place has definitely got me out of my shell. We are a big family who are struggling with the same things. If you have the opportunity to come to Recovery First give yourself a chance, you’re worth it and by the time you leave here you yourself will believe you’re worth it as well.   It has nice wilderness trails, great for a run or a nice leisurely stroll through the wooded terrain.

  Relaxing spot to get some nature therapy right in the middle of residential lake Oswego neighborhood. Take a break on a lazy day. Hopefully soon some sunshine to enjoy with it....one can dream ; ) don't c forget to check out the fallen log across the creek. Cross it if you dare. Lol
