Joe is an awesome person and automotive mechanic. He is honest and fair. He will take the time to explain what’s wrong with your vehicle in a way that people who aren’t used to working on cars can understand.

He has taken care of my Suburu and Jeep a few times and each time he has speedy and efficient repairs at an extremely affordable price.

I cannot recommend his business enough!

Pipe from the muffler broke. Fast weld and a decent price. A while back Joe replaced my radiator, again a decent price. My clutch was fixed by Fairbanks. Fairbanks is the way to go.
This is alright for women to go without being ripped off. Highly recommend. Any car problems just give Joe a call. When my clutch blew I had my 1993 Ford Escort towed to his shop and had it fixed.

Joe at Fairbanks Automotive is super honest and thorough. He found some brake hardware missing from another garages lack of detail. I trust these guys and it’s well worth the drive to get fair and honest work. I’ll be back and recommending this shop to family and friends. Thanks Joe!

As a woman, I really appreciate the way I was treated here. No mansplaining or selling me on services I didn't need for way more than they should cost. I'd been getting frustrated at the Subaru dealership where I was taking my car for service. They seemed to rush me and I wasn't ever sure if the work was being done well. They often grossly underestimated their time and charged top dollar for it. So it was refreshing to find this place. Joe was kind, communicative and honest. I waited in the adorable coffee shop nearby while he worked on my car. When he discovered another issue that would take until the next day to fix, he even offered to drive me home or lend me a car for the night! As he put it, he tries to put himself in his customer's shoes, and I really felt that was true. I would recommend this auto repair shop.
