Great place to have breakfast or lunch?

Great park for feeding geese/ducks and skipping rocks in the rivers

My hubby and I enjoy making a quick stop here some mornings before he drops me at work. It's so peaceful to watch the ducks, geese and other birds in the water and the trees in the morning light. It's the perfect start to my day.

Cool river on hot day= bliss I was super sad to see all of the masks littered everywhere. We picked up what we saw. Come on people, it's all our responsibility to respect nature by not littering. I always taught my kids to not only leave with everything you brought but to pick up at least 1 piece of litter that you didn't bring, ( we usually pick up all that we see). If everyone did this our parks and rivers would be pristine.

It's serene and beautiful. A friend and I walk there in the morning. There are geese and other birds. I saw an Osprey this morning as well as Crows and pigeons. There was a lady feeding the geese and pigeons this morning with her little boy.
